I specialize in equine rehab, fitness, and fascia-focused bodywork. My approach is whole-horse — meaning I don’t just chase symptoms. I assess biomechanics, compensation patterns, posture, soft tissue, and movement to find the root cause and retrain the body, not just patch it.
Short answer? Everything.
I’ve worked on (and have successful case studies in):
• Tendon & ligament injuries
• Post-surgery recovery
• Kissing spine rehab
• Stifle weakness
• SI dysfunction
• Hoof-related compensations
• Chronic soreness & body imbalances
• Horses needing general conditioning or fitness programs
If it involves movement, soft tissue, or retraining the body — I can help.
Totally depends on the horse, the injury, and follow-through. Some horses show changes in a few sessions; deeper compensations or post-surgery cases may require a structured program over weeks to months. I’ll always be honest about timelines.
For injuries, acute issues, or post-surgical cases—yes. I work with your vet, farrier, and trainer as a team. For fitness or general maintenance cases, no referral is required
Absolutely. Rehab is a team effort. I’ll give you homework, explain the “why,” and adjust it as your horse progresses.
Yes! Most all horses that come to Caliente Therapy are out of state clients!
I don’t just “make them feel good.” I retrain movement, fix compensations, educate owners, and treat the whole horse. My programs blend bodywork + biomechanics + conditioning for results that last.
